Ride Report

At the risk of this web site becoming a surrogate Michelin Guide for Fine Dining, I have to say that Delaware sticks in my mind for one thing.. barbecue chicken. Yes, the ferry from Cape May, NJ, across Delaware Bay to Lewes, DE, was nice (and cheap) and yes the Delaware countryside was nice too, but I tell you this. You are hungry to the extent you would eat grass and you pull up at a junction just outside a town and smell barbecue. I almost fell off in my haste to turn around. I've taken 6 photos to walk you through this ultimate gastronomic experience. I don't care if you say "pfffftttt, BBQ chicken? so what?", this was the right thing at the right place at the right time. And yes, the rest of Delaware was OK too. A small state and quickly traversed on my way to Washington DC.
