Ride Report

Indiana's ride, short as though it was, between Kentucky & Ohio, was dominated by the mighty Ohio River. The activity on the river was amazing - from barges, to yachts, to police boats, to water-skiing, to kids paddling about on lilos.

I chose the route called the Ohio River Scenic Byway that tracked along the banks of the Ohio. Around each bend was a new vista of the river. There was a county called Little Switzerland which had.. you guessed it, a lot of Swiss things. And there was the old friend corn back again, this time looking alive and well. Northern Indiana is flat and Iowa-like. I was glad to spend time in the interesting part. I didn't want to ride through Cincinnati so opted out of Indiana at Lawrenceburg on an interstate.
