Ride Report

West Virginia is simply a lovely state. I had an endless supply of back roads to choose from but wanted to keep heading east towards Maryland. That little deviation you see in the route map was indulging a wish to see the town of Looneyville. In fact Looneyville was more an area so I couldn't get a photo of the sign.

I combined highways with freeways with minor country roads. It was almost as if I had the state to myself.

Anyway, let the photos speak for themselves.

Looming out of the trees was this old derelict house. Look carefully at one of the upstairs windows. Do you see a young girl looking back at you? I looked at the notice on the gate. It read Meshack Mansion.
