My second 'A' to 'A' continent was a 50-state ride through America in 2008. It took 60 days to do a lap around America, including Hawaii and Alaska.. a total of 32,000 kms. The bike was my Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom. I rode clockwise from Vancouver, Canada through all 48 lower states of America, back to Vancouver. My goal was to touch every state; Obviously in the time available some were more extensively visited than others. My book "Twisting Throttle America" was published in 2009 and is still on the shelves. Hopefully book sales will fund my next ride around Arctica.
